Tic-Tech-Talk seminar series

Web office applications: word processing, spreadsheets, email and calendars without installing one bit of software!

Using Google Apps, a web-based office application, we will find out what is offered, where they are, how easy is it to get going and answer the question, 'Are they good enough?'

is a way of computing, via the Internet, that broadly shares computer resources instead of having a local personal computer handle specific applications (wikipedia)

a seminar focusing on the use of computers and IT (NZ Dictionary Centre)

Googleable

producing a number of search results if entered into the Google® Internet search engine (MacmillanDictionary)
